Boutique, estate-grown, Yakima Valley. These are just a couple of words that describe AntoLin Cellars, a partnership between the husband of wife team of Anthony and Linda Haralson. The Yakima-based couple offer small-lot, vineyard specific wines at a value price.
In 2007, after 10 years of home winemaking, the couple launched AntoLin (a combination of their first names). focusing on Riesling, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. A majority of the winery’s grapes are sourced from Glacier, their 5-acre estate vineyard (other fruit comes from elsewhere in the Yakima and Columbia valleys).
The winery plans on releasing bottles of Chardonnay, Carmenere and Malbec later this year.
2010 Estate Riesling – $13.50
This is what a Yakima Valley Riesling should taste like. Great balance, bright fruit flavors and good acidity, this wine was hands down a favorite with our tasting team. Sourced from Glacier Estate, this is a great wine for a summer gathering (and at $13.50 it’s a real steal).
2009 Cabernet Sauvignon – $22
A great everyday wine, AntoLin’s 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon has dark cherry and chocolate flavor notes with a balanced finish. The bottle benefits from some breathing time after you open it.

I agree that Antolin’s Reisling is ideal.
