Here’s our strategy for a successful Passport weekend:
1. Have a designated driver – no passport is required for these brave souls but you should probably reward them in the future for their sacrifice.
2. Use the shuttle service – for the first time this year passport participants can purchase an additional Shuttle Express tickets for $10 to use for travel from winery to winery.
3. Buy the weekend pass – tasting takes time and in order to maximize your passport make a weekend of it (plus, the two-day pass is only $10 more…that’s an awesome deal!)
4. Plan your winery visits – even if you purchase a weekend passport you won’t be able to visit all 30+ wineries. Pick and choose your wineries carefully with a couple of new ones mixed in with your favorites
5. Don’t forget to eat and drink lots water – we can’t say this enough, bring water and food. While some of the wineries will have small bites it’s important that you balance out all the wine and stay (somewhat) sober.
This event sells out every year and this year will be no exception. Get your tickets before March 25 and save $10 off the regular tickets price ($65 for a one-day pass, $75 for a two day).
